Last year, Bluemantle helped Sale Sharks recruit All Black star, Luke McAlister bringing him over from New Zealand to Cheshire where he has had a tremendous positive impact on the team. Keen to continue to offer his continued support and proving that he has an eye for spotting up and coming talent, Jim Caldwell, Chairman of Bluemantle, has also elected to sponsor David Tait for the forthcoming season. David has played for the Sharks in the EDF Cup against Cardiff and has recently been called up for the 2009 England Sevens training squad. To commemorate Luke’s first year with Sale Sharks and introduce David, Bluemantle hosted an evening with the two rugby stars at the Bubble Room in Alderley Edge on Tuesday 11th November 2008. The event, which was attended by many of the leading names in North West property, included a television interview with ‘Channel M’ and provided guests with a unique opportunity to put forward their own questions to the players as well as the club’s Director of Rugby, Philippe Saint-Andre.
